What's at stake is the future of American democracy, The simple fact is that all over this country, Republican governors and legislators are moving aggressively to suppress the vote and to impose extreme gerrymandering, among many other things.
Anybody who supports the future of American democracy, must understand, that voting to suspend the filibuster would enable us to go forward with 50 votes. Which would ensure passage of major voting rights legislation.
Although both DINO’s Manchin and Sinema, have made their opposition clear to lowering the current 60-vote threshold to end debate on the legislation. Both Manchin and Sinema have shown an inclination, to supporting the GOP in ending fair and protected elections, in these swing states.
